Carol Award Finalist Tina Radcliffe

Missy, here. I'm thrilled to introduce my good friend and fellow Love Inspired author, Tina Radcliffe. And this year, she's a Carol Award finalist! It's so fun when a close friend receives an honor like this. I feel like I get to live vicariously. :)

Today, I wanted to tell you a little about Tina's book, Oklahoma Reunion.

Here's a little about the story:

Facing her past Single mother Kait Field is back home in the small Oklahoma town she left eight years ago. It’s time to empty the family home, close the door on the past and introduce her daughter, Jenna, to her daddy. Ryan Jones hasn’t quite forgiven his teenage sweetheart, who left him with unanswered questions and a broken heart. But Kait was never accepted by his controlling family, and they don’t seem any more welcoming this time around. Yet now Ryan and Kait are resolved that nothing will come between renewed promises of faith, forever—and the second chance that neither expected.

This book has rave reviews on Amazon and other sites. I know Tina is a fantastic writer and can't wait to read this one myself.

  3. Congrats Tina!

Tina writes great 5-sensed copy. I am using her as an example in my RPP book on How to Reward Readers. Check this quote from “Rancher’s Reunion”:

“Her senses greedily feasted on the American sights and sounds. It was the simple things she’d missed; the twang of an Oklahoma accent, the U.S. Flag hanging high in the terminal, a sign advertising Mazzio’s pizza, the chatter of the crowd in English, and American food. The tantalizing aroma of a bagel kiosk caused a pause in her steps. Onion, chive and garlic. They all called out to her.”

That’s how to make your writing sizzle with sensations. I just love it and look for many more great books from Tina’s talented pen.
